Bishop R.S. Walker The Visionary...

Bishop Rodney S. Walker I is a native of Washington, D.C. and a graduate of Jericho Christian Training College and Spirit of Truth Institute where he received his Doctor of Divinity degree. Bishop Walker is spiritually covered by and accountable to Dr. Michael Freeman of Spirit of Faith Christian Center in Oxon Hill, Maryland. Bishop R S Walker is also accountable to his Spiritual Father, Bishop Ralph L Dennis of Kingdom Fellowship Covenant Ministries. In July of 1998, Kingdom Fellowship Covenant Ministries bestowed upon Bishop Walker the Apostolic appointment to the work of Chief Elder/Overseer. For that season, Bishop Walker provided assigned regional oversight in the ministry of the Prophetic ascension gift.

In addition to his many assignments, he is the founder and Senior Pastor of Heritage Church International, which was established in April 1990 and is currently located at 2760 Crain Highway, Waldorf, MD, inside their very own Heritage Faith Plaza. He also serves as the Overseer of Bishop R S Walker Ministries (formerly known as Another Touch of Glory Ministries) founded in 1995. Bishop Walker founded Another Touch of Glory School of the Prophets in 1999. The school has now gone into much of the United States. Presently, Bishop R S Walker Ministries has schools operating in Baltimore and Waldorf, MD, Raleigh and Wilson, NC and Abuja, Nigeria. Bishop Walker has also raised a body of Prophetic Presbyters who assist him in managing the great assignment God has set to his hands. In addition, Bishop Walker is the author and publisher of Ministry of the Holy Spirit, Foundations of Prophetic Maturity, The Prophetic Prayer Journal, Raising Prophets of Character, Becoming A Proven Prophetic Voice, The 21st Century Prophet, The Renaissance Prophet, and The Father/Son Encounter, all of which prove to be phenomenal resources of the serious believer’s library.

Ephesians 4 is foundational to his charge and calling, however, one of his dearest accomplishments is that of being a devoted husband to his lovely wife, Pastor Betty Walker, and a loving father to his eleven wonderful children. Bishop Rodney Walker’s ultimate goal is to fulfill all that God has purposed for his life and for those placed in his prophetic and pastoral care.
